A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR
We are glad you are visiting our site. First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda is an historic church with a 21st Century
vision to reach out into her community with the love of Jesus, seeking to touch the lives of many with his power to give purpose
and meaning to life. Our focus is fulfilling the purposes of God for His church through:
1) Worshipping God and from that worship;
2) Loving each other and all who enter our community of faith with Christ's love;
3) Helping each other grow in our knowledge of Jesus and God's will through Bible study and Christian Education;
4) Unleashing each person's gifts for service in our church and in the community; and
5) Taking Jesus' message of love to a hurting and lost world, both in Punta Gorda into the whole world.
We invite you to journey with us as we strive to be God's people, loving God and others with the love of Jesus.
